The Final Four Announced!

Just wanted to give you the heads up and to say thank you for your support so far…
Basically, we made it into the final four of the Highway Apprentice competition and attended our first workshop tonight, we can’t tell you very much more about the event until after all of the workshops have been completed in two weeks time but we will definitely keep you updated as much as possible.

“Loc Tran and Deanna Ortuso – who plan to promote Adelaide to Ellen DeGeneres and the entire world by hosting an interactive mock Ellen talk show with special guests, music and talent, showcasing the best of Adelaide to an audience of Ellen look-a-likes and holding the biggest choreographed Ellen dance. The ultimate aim is to get the attention of Ellen DeGeneres and encourage her to visit Adelaide!”

Ellen DeGeneres Come To Adelaide Because You'll Have A HEAPS GOOD Time!
Intro Sequence Done!
It’s day 9 of the “Ellen DeGeneres Come To Adelaide” campaign and we now have 462 Facebook page fans which is seriously awesome!

We had a lot of fun today shooting the intro sequence for our promo video, special thanks to Carina Gun as “Mel”, Nick Buckland as “Syd” and Kyla Goodfellow as “Fake Ellen”, you can check out some more of our behind the scenes photos by going to our Facebook page http://ellendegenerescometoadelaide.com/facebook.
Also, while I’m at it, thanks to the Highway Hotel (http://twitter.com/hwyhotel) for letting us use their function room for the shoot once again.
The promo video is going to be super cool, we just have a few more scenes to shoot this weekend and then we will be done

Promo Video 50% Complete!
It’s the start of day 6 of the “Ellen DeGeneres Come To Adelaide” campaign and we now have 263 likes for our Facebook page, averaging 52 per day!
The promo video is looking great, we had so much fun shooting parts of the video in Glenelg and at the Highway Hotel yesterday, can’t wait to share the video with everyone once it’s complete!
A special thanks goes to the Gothic Lolitas – Molly, Carrie, Annee, Kelly, Kylie, Kelly and Katherine for agreeing to be part of the video.
We now have the final part of the promo video done, we just need to shoot the opening sequence and a few more interviews and we’ll be done.

Promo Video – Call For Volunteers
It’s the beginning of day 4 of the “Ellen DeGeneres Come To Adelaide” campaign and we now have 165 likes for our Facebook page, this is awesome as we are averaging 55 likes per day and on track to hit 770 by the 14th of June, a significant date which we’ll tell you about later…
We’re shooting our first promo video this Saturday the 5th of June and we need your help!
Basically we just want to shoot several minutes of footage where there is a lot of people having fun in a bar / nightclub environment.
Sooo, if you’re interested, please come to the Highway Hotel (290 Anzac Highway PLYMPTON SA 5038) at 4pm on Saturday the 5th of June 2010. We will only have one hour in total to shoot all of the necessary scenes, so make sure that you get there on time, dress your best and also, it wouldn’t hurt if you’re able to dance like Ellen DeGeneres ;-p
